My curriculum work begins with a broad question: what should students be able to know, do, and achieve when they leave us? From there, I connect learning outcomes, course sequences, delivery formats, experiential opportunities, and career preparation into pathways students can understand and complete.

Helped establish the College of Science's first fully online master's degree, creating a more flexible route for working professionals and geographically dispersed students.
Developed a clearer undergraduate roadmap for students preparing for medicine, dentistry, physician assistant programs, optometry, and related health professions.
Advanced a three-course sequence providing practical experience with vital signs, EKGs, patient interaction, laboratory testing, and clinical simulation.
Launched a cohort experience for high-achieving first-year students that combines a small gateway course, enhanced mentoring, research connections, and priority opportunities.
Developing an industry-aligned graduate program integrating biotechnology, biomanufacturing, food science, project management, laboratory training, and externships.
Moved selected non-majors courses online in accelerated formats to expand access, improve use of teaching space, and support student progression.
Integrated additional skill credentials into existing courses so students can document applied learning without increasing the credit burden of the degree.
Connected degree learning to students' next steps through the BIOL 4101 undergraduate career-readiness capstone and BIOL 5392 MS Non-Thesis Capstone.
What keeps the work meaningful
Curriculum is where institutional strategy becomes a student's lived experience.
I enjoy the puzzle of bringing ambitious ideas into alignment with academic standards, faculty strengths, student needs, and practical constraints. The reward is seeing a new possibility become a program students can actually enter, navigate, and use.
